Ludlow's castle-town streets contain gardens of every shape, and clearance here suits careful, considered work that respects period buildings, walls and neighbouring plots.
Ludlow is a historic Shropshire market town with a castle and many period properties, and the gardens attached to them vary enormously. Some are small yards behind old frontages, others are generous lawns and borders that have grown beyond control.
Our clearance service helps in all of these. We cut back overgrowth, lift out rubbish, remove green waste and leave a clean base, so you can restore the garden, build something new or simply tidy up before a sale.
No two Ludlow gardens are alike, so we begin with a conversation. A compact town garden may need a day of intensive cutting, digging and carrying, while a larger one might call for several days and a mix of tools. Typical tasks include removing overgrown shrubs, clearing bramble and ivy, taking out dead planting, collecting scattered rubbish and stripping weeds from beds and paths. We tell you what we think is sensible and let you decide what the budget and the garden allow.
Whether you intend to lay turf, build a terrace or replace a fence line, preparation shapes the outcome. We remove roots and debris, make the area workable and take care around walls and structures that need to stay. In older gardens we often come across buried rubble, so we sort it carefully and let you know what remains. If a landscaper or fencer is booked, we can liaise on timing so the site is ready when they arrive.
Historic streets mean narrow lanes, restricted parking and sometimes pedestrian-only approaches. We plan for that, using hand carrying and smaller loads when necessary. It helps if you tell us about gates, steps and parking when you contact us. All the waste is removed, with green material, soil, timber and rubble handled separately where possible and taken to appropriate sites, so nothing is left to clutter the property or surrounding area.
We are happy to work in Ludlow and the surrounding area, including Tenbury Wells and Leominster, which sit within our regular range. A period property often has boundary walls and neighbours very close, so we treat the work with care, keeping noise and mess sensible and tidying as we go. Tell us about the garden, send a few details of access, and we will arrange a visit where needed and provide a free quotation.
We also take on garden clearance work in nearby Tenbury Wells, Leominster.

Yes. A tidy, clear garden helps a property show well. Tell us your timescale and we will say what is realistic, though the exact time depends on the size of the garden and amount of waste.
We do, and we take extra care around walls, paths and structures. If anything in the garden is protected or sensitive, tell us beforehand so we can plan the work around it.
For simple jobs, photographs and a description may be enough. For larger or more complex gardens we prefer to visit, because access and volume are hard to judge from a distance.
