Stratford-upon-Avon combines period housing near the river with newer estates, and each needs a different kind of clearance, from overgrown mature gardens to tired builder-era plots.
Stratford-upon-Avon is a Warwickshire market town on the River Avon, and its housing stretches from period streets close to the centre to more modern estates further out. The gardens follow suit: older ones are deep, shaded and full of established planting, newer ones are neat in principle but easily overrun.
If yours has reached the point where it needs a proper reset, we can handle the clearance. We cut back, dig out, collect the waste and take it away, leaving a clean space ready for whatever you want to do next.
Mature gardens have the most to clear. Over the years, laurel, buddleia, ivy and sycamore seedlings can fill borders and crowd walls, while old sheds and greenhouses decay at the bottom. We cut back the vegetation, dig out the stumps and roots where possible and clear the structures that have outlived their purpose. If a tree is too big to be treated as clearance, we will say so and discuss tree work. We always confirm with you which plants and features should be kept.
Newer estate gardens often need clearing for a different reason: poor lawns, weedy beds and leftover building rubble near the surface. We strip the area back to a workable base, remove stones and debris and tell you if the ground is compacted. Before fencing, we clear the boundary line and cut back anything pressing on it. This stage is worth doing properly, because turf, paving and posts all depend on the quality of the ground beneath.
Period properties often have side passages or no rear access, so waste is carried through gates and along narrow routes to the van. Newer estates are easier but parking can be tight on cul-de-sacs. We check this at the start. Everything is removed and disposed of properly, with green waste, soil, timber and rubble separated where possible. If your property is near the river and the ground is soft, we adapt the way we move materials.
We cover Stratford-upon-Avon and neighbouring areas such as Alcester, Shipston-on-Stour and Warwick. The town is busy and parking can be restricted, so we plan access and timing sensibly. Whether you live on a quiet period street or a modern estate, tell us about the garden and we will arrange a visit if needed. The free quotation will explain what we plan to remove and how.
We also take on garden clearance work in nearby Alcester, Shipston-on-Stour, Warwick.

Yes, though ground by the river can be soft or wet. We assess it first, adapt our methods to avoid damage, and make sure waste does not end up near the water.
Yes. Many customers book clearance first, then move on to the design or build. We can leave the ground ready for another contractor or continue with turf, planting or fencing ourselves.
Yes. Bigger gardens just take longer and need more sorting. We discuss the scope on site and may suggest tackling the work in phases.
